Statistics 2023-24

In 2023-24 we received:

886* review applications
- 293 community care grants
- 591 crisis grants

We handed:

855* review applications
- 263 community care grants
- 590 crisis grants

Other key figures

1,352 enquiries handled - 74% were people contacting us in error when trying to contact their local council
681 review requests progressed to a decision being made
- 52.1% of community care grants upheld
- 15.8% of crisis grants upheld
